Revenue split

A revenue split is the allocation of one source revenue basis across multiple payees, such as a seller, creator, partner, or internal retained share.

What to know

How revenue splits are used

Revenue splits work best when each recipient, percentage, scope, and remainder is explicit before the calculation run is created.

  • One source row can produce several payee-level allocation lines.
  • Split percentages should add up to the intended allocation basis.
  • Remainders should be reviewed as retained platform share or unresolved allocation.
  • Statements and exports should show the payee-specific share, not only the shared source amount.
